A bulletproof platform designed specifically to run Krill’s Display software, the Black Box Display Processor provides protection against the security and reliability issues of off-the-shelf computer systems.

Designed without fans, hard disks or any other moving parts, Krill’s Black Box is ideally suited to withstand the harsh pounding and extreme conditions associated with the marine environment.

 

 

Impervious to viruses and other malicious software

Running the latest Krill vessel monitoring software on 64 bit Windows 7, the Krill Black Box maintains the integrity of the monitoring solution and protect against software crashes. The Black Box runs only the Krill Soft Display software, restricting the loading of other applications such as games that can alter system parameters and compromise the device’s functionality and reliability. This feature also makes the system impervious to viruses and other malicious software that can result from downloading files off the web.
